A visit to European countries won’t be comprehensive without a trip to one of the old continent’s most amazing towns.  Found a couple of hours north of Rome, Florence is known as a tourists daydream.

Florence, Italy is perhaps one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Known for its long history as well as art and cultures, it is indeed a tourist destination and a must for anyone visiting Italy. It is filled with gorgeous piazzas, parks, churches and museums. The markets and artist galleries will be pleasing to all.

It really is almost everything you will have imagined in a town plus more! View world class fine art museums and galleries, stare in awe at hundreds of years old architecture, take a gorgeous walk along the Arno River, and stroll to Piazzale Michelangelo to catch a terrific display of Florence’s skyline.  Make sure to take photos of the amazing panorama and scenery, look in elegant shops or start a conversation with one of many pleasant locals who would be happy to tell you more about his or her precious city and possibly even take you on a tour.

The region has long been known for is wonderful cuisine. You can enjoy an upscale classical meal or a leisurely lunch at one of the many cafes. The shopping will provide you the latest fashion designs and trends. You can also stroll through the city on a walking tour. The city of Florence with its old world looks and breathtaking landscape is a great place to have an exhibition or any other type of event.

The town performed a very important purpose in medieval times and still continues to draw in tourists from everywhere. The next time you can not make your mind up where to go on your holiday getaway, carefully consider traveling to Florence and you’ll discover why numerous people return repeatedly!
